I started out in photography when I was 16 years old, my first camera being a Zenith EM. Shortly after starting to use film I set up my own dark room for processing, this was a real eye opener and I  was really into black and white photography in a big way. This lasted for about 3 years or so, then from the late 1970's until early 2003 I did not do any photography, however since then nothing has stopped me. I belong to two Photographic Clubs, I have placed a link for these on my Links Page. Each of them have their good and bad points, and if your looking for a club I would say try a few before you decide.

I purchased my first digital camera in 2003, and continue to use a film camera as well.

All my equipment is Canon as I have found this to be the best for my requirements.

The picture below was taken in infared, with a converted 1DSmk2. I don't tend to look this happy, but you have to make the effort!
